Course Actions

There are three stages of a KU Core course's life. The first is the nomination and approval stage. This requires completing the Course Inventory Management System form and review from both the school/college curriculum committee and UCCC. The next stage is the recertification stage in which currently approved courses are reviewed to ensure they are still meeting and aligned with the learning outcomes. The final stage is decertification or removal from the KU Core. This is typically done at the discretion of the department due to changes in the program.
