Transfer Students
Whether they completed courses in high school or attended college before enrolling at KU, many students transfer college credit. Some or all of this credit may meet KU Core 34 requirements. Academic advisors will assist students in determining how to apply transfer credit during the orientation process.
Note: Transfer students starting at the university in Fall 2024 through Summer 2025 may request to opt-out of the KU Core 34 requirements.
